During a school trip, a group of teenagers gets stranded in an old, run-down hotel. Zoza is still grieving the suicide of his best friend, Andrija. He confronts his classmates and teachers for staying silent about the bullying Andrija faced. His accusations turn others against him and reveal hidden secrets and tensions within the group. When the person he trusts most betrays him, Zoza runs into the forest. There, something disturbing begins to happen, threatening to change everything by morning.
Based in Belgrade, Serbian film director Miroslav Terzić made his debut with Redemption Street, which premiered at the São Paulo International Film Festival, earning Best Debut Feature at Cottbus. His second feature, Stitches, premiered in Berlin Panorama and won the Europa Cinemas Label Award and the Panorama Audience Award. Terzić has also directed a large body of commercial work across the region and internationally.
