Synopsis :

Nadia was born with a large, maroon hemangioma on her face. Living in a rural village, she faces constant hostility and ridicule. Even her family rejects her true self: her grandmother relies on religious rituals to cure her, while her mother obsessively dreams of a Moscow surgery. Meanwhile, Nadia just wants to sing in a choir. After a series of troubles, she ends up in a Moscow hospital, meeting children with similar conditions. However, removing the physical mark changes nothing in her family's dynamic. Ultimately, they realise the true problem was never her birthmark but their own inner attitudes.
