Mira is a quiet, lonely woman who travels from place to place, meeting desperate people with whom she seems to have made unusual agreements involving death. With no clear destination, she meets Madeleine and Ludo, two free-spirited people living deep in the forest. During her stay, she meets an unusual and intriguing young man who unsettles her. Taking a break from her journey, Mira begins to question her way of life and reconsider the dark agreements she has made with others.
Former Canadian journalist and film critic, Denis Côté made short films before debuting with Drifting States (2005). Curling won Locarno honours; Vic+Flo Saw a Bear earned Silver Bear in Berlin and Prix Albert-Tessier too won international reputation.
