Havar, a homeless child without legal documents, crosses the border from Iraq into Iran and finds work at a poultry farm outside Tehran. There, he becomes friends with Yaghoub, an adult worker. When Yaghoub suddenly disappears without explanation, Havar sets out to find out what happened to him. However, his search for the truth soon puts his own life at risk.
Born in 1982 in Ravansar, Iran, Mohammadreza Ardalan is a writer, director and editor. He studied Cinema at Tehran University of Art and earned a Master’s degree in cinema from Soore University, Tehran. His research explores Pasolini’s cinema and Walter Benjamin’s political theology.
