In the French countryside, farmers and hunters are in conflict as wild boars destroy crops. Brun, a grain farmer who can no longer bear the situation, suddenly disappears. A year later, a troubled police officer, Fulda, and a struggling psychologist, Stéphane, investigate his disappearance. What they discover is far more shocking than they expected. As they work together, an unexpected bond also develops between them.
A graduate of the École Supérieure d’Audiovisuel in Toulouse, the French filmmaker Sarah Arnold has won awards for Leçon de ténèbres (2010) and Totems (2014), which was selected at Locarno. Her L’Effort commercial won France TV’s Best Short Film Award in 2021.
