Sailor Ripley and Lula Fortune are passionate young lovers who set off on a road trip across the US, seeking freedom and a life together. When Lula’s disapproving mother, Marietta, conspires to separate them and hires people to kill Sailor, their journey becomes increasingly dangerous.
